There is an old saying that old is gold and the fact is true by every means. People or women specially love those gemstones which are unique and rarely found on earth. These rarely or vintage gemstones are generally kept by the great grandmothers in their precious gemstone box only to pass it on to their successor. These rings are unique and thus it gives a good feeling to any women who are wearing it. Women love these rings because it shows the amount of love their ancestors have towards them. Thus wearing such a precious gemstone on the day of their wedding and that too as an engagement ring gives a great feeling.

The carat, of course, refers to the size of the diamond – and the bigger it is, the bigger the price. Don’t be swayed by such comments as “total carats” as it may just be a piece made from a lot of little, low value chips, rather than one solitaire.

Some adventurous couples are opting for wedding rings that will never be lost, being the tattooed wedding ring. This may be the choice for those with occupations where they use their hands a lot, such as doctors or mechanics. Tattooed wedding rings are generally less expensive although they will require an occasional touch-up.

Family Jewelry. A ring, bracelet or necklace that has birthstones and or names and dates in it. As a mom, having a special necklace that has my children’s birth-dates on it is really sweet. I’m able to share the jewelry with others and show off their birthstones.
